Meet The Tutor
I'm James and I have over a decade of drumming experience, both live and in the studio, and was educated at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute in Brighton, where I studied all the different aspects of the world of drumming and music and received a degree in professional musicianship.
I have several years of teaching experience and my flexible and friendly style is suitable for players of all abilities, from complete beginners looking to get into playing the drums all the way to more experienced players looking to take their playing to the next level. I'm incredibly passionate about the drums and sharing my knowledge with others to help you get to where you want your drumming to be! In addition, I am DBS certified and a member of the ISM (the largest body of professional musicians in the UK), so you can be confident in my professionalism. Regardless of your age or ability, I'm the right tutor for you!

We offer students the opportunity to record audio and video of what they've been learning! whether they want to show it to friends and family, upload it to Social Media or use it for a demo for their band, the choice is yours!
We understand that the needs of every student are different and our approach to reflects that, with a wide and flexible curriculum that will help you achieve your drumming goals.
